About me

“Never be ashamed of trying. Effortlessness is a myth.”
– Taylor Swift

Hi! I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Statistics Department at the Iowa State University. Before that, I received my M.S. degree in Data Science from the University of Michigan, advised by Prof. Ivo Dinov and Dr. Simeone Marino in the Statistics Online Computational Resources Lab. Before Michigan, I received my B.S. in Data Science and Big Data Technology from Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China.

Research Interests

I’m broadly interested in statistical theory, methodology, and applications in multidisciplinary fields. Some of the most attractive areas for me are:

  • High-dimensional statistical inference
  • Biostatistics, bioinformatics and EHR data
  • Synthetic data and digital twins
